How a pick is valuedThe honest value of a pick is the best player you can expect to still be there — which depends on how the other managers draft, not on our ranking. The draft room’s simulation answers that: 2,000 drafts of 12 managers drafting by ADP with a spread, from an empty board, and the best VORP left at each of your picks. The kept player is taken off those boards first.

What the calculator ignoresOther keepers (the board starts empty), and your league’s cost escalation (+1 round a year, +$5): apply it to the cost before you price. Next year is the dynasty basis — his discounted multi-season value against the pick’s, on the same simulation.
